To reinforce the attainment of the State Board of Education goal that every student in the NC Public School System graduates from high school prepared for work, further education, and citizenship; Career and Technical Education courses provide multiple opportunities for students to obtain industry credentials.

ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification
WorkKeys is administered to students in Grade 12, who are CTE concentrators.  A CTE concentrator is a student, who has successfully completed the Level I Prerequisite course(s) as well as a Level II Concentrator course in an approved Career Pathway Program of Study.
